Times square

We went to see times square today, and left at about four, which was a bad idea because we ended up staying out till eleven. We almost turned around a bunch of times, and Tobin peed his pants twice because there is a lack of public washrooms here, but we bought a pack of Skittles to share near the end when we were all falling asleep. But when we got to times square which is covered in ginormous screens displaying round the clock ads, we found that there was a Toys r us there. With a separate section for candy and video games. And ice cream. And an indoor ferris wheel, complete with a different major toy company represented on each pod. And, being with Tobin, we went inside, and went on the ferris wheel. We never would have gotten him out of there, but we were there long enough that the store shut, so we all had to leave. Then we took the subway home. Oh yeah, on the way to times square we stopped and played at a playground so it took us twice as long to get there.
It was worth it though, because times square was quite impressive. I still don't think I'd want to live here for more than a week, though.

P.S.
There are huge rats in the subway. There not actually gross at all, and you can see them if you look closely while your standing waiting for your subway. They're pretty hard to find though, because they're dark brown and everything else is dark brown, so you have to look for movement. We played "spot the rat", and whoever sees one first wins.
