We took the tube to Buckingham palace, and we saw the guards with huge hats pacing about. Real contrast to the police officer leaning on the wall next to the guards. We took pictures of the fancy gates.
Then we moved on to the duke of Wellington's house and the arch named after him next store to the palace. The inside of the house is covered in art. You're not allowed to take pictures inside, but the walls were plastered with famous original (mostly) paintings. And there were priceless busts and giant statues everywhere as well. We didn't have time to see everything though, because it was such a huge house. It was kindof like a palace, by level of fancyness.
Then we went for tea at the house of one of my grandma's friends, and Tobin liked it because there was another five year old to play with, and we played a game a bit like curling, but different.
Then came the London Eye, which went up really high. Jeff didn't come on because it was really expensive for adults, and Lise wouldn't have come if kids could have gone by themselves. It doesn't really stop, and you get on while it's moving so it's kind of scary, and there's just a little ledge underneath you and then water.
I'm getting tired and it's bedtime, so bye.
Oh yeah, in a park we saw a Canada memorial thing, an incline with water running down it and maple leaves, and it was neat.
P.S.
We got some nougat from a store and it had a warning on it: may have an adverse effect on activity and attention in children. They should put this on all sugar candy :)
